Lead Percussionist Shines in “Pirouz and Parizad” Musical Theatre
The ongoing “Pirouz and Parizad” musical theatre at Vahdat Hall, composed by Ali Ghamsari, blends traditional Persian music with theatrical performance. This production, centered around Persian poetry and musical narratives, has drawn attention for its creative approach to storytelling.
Aryan Rezaee, the lead percussionist, contributed significantly to the performance with his skillful execution of Daf and other percussive instruments. His involvement in the rhythmic structure provided essential transitions between musical segments and helped maintain the energy throughout the show.
The performance concluded with solo sections, where Aryan’s percussion work stood out, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. His contributions, though rooted in traditional techniques, helped bridge the connection between music and the narrative elements on stage.
